WBCS Exam stands for West Bengal Civil Service Exam. It is a competitive examination held by the West Bengal Public Service Commission (WBPSC) for recruitment of officers for the various administrative services of the state government of West Bengal, India.

  • West Bengal Police Service

The pay scale for the service in GROUP B is PB-4A (Rs. 15,600/- to 42,000/-) + G.P. (Rs. 5,400/-) and the gross emoluments at the entry level is Rs. 21,000/-, which also includes D.A., M.A., and H.R.A. admissible as per rules.
